Citations and Appeals
In order to ensure the most efficient use of parking spaces on campus, UCI Transportation has established parking rules and regulations that are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Prior to parking on campus, make sure you review your permit rules and the Parking Services page to avoid a citation.
If you received a parking citation and believe that it was issued in error, we encourage you to submit an appeal with the appropriate documentation. Our Adjudication team will work with you to ensure that all issued citations are resolved in a manner that follows state law and that you are allowed ample opportunities to file appeals. UCI Transportation continually strives to operate a parking system that is open, transparent, and easily understood.
Did you know our parking representatives do more than just issue citations?
All representatives are trained in campus emergency protocols and have CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications. Also, all enforcement vehicles are equipped with automated external defibrillators. Our team also supports the VIP Service Program, provided on the main campus at no charge to all UCI affiliates. Â
