In support of the annual Anti-Cancer Challenge, Pereira Drive and adjacent parking lots will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11. Detour signs and traffic directors will be on-site to facilitate traffic flow.Â

SR 73 Ramp Closures

UC Irvine Transportation has been made aware of overnight work at the Bison Ave. and Bonita Canyon Dr. ramps of State Route (SR) 73 that may impact access to the campus through Thursday, October 9. Drivers should anticipate delays during this time and use alternate routes for toll road access.

A valid parking permit is required at all times when parking on campus. UC Irvine affiliates can purchase permits through their myCommute account. Visitors may use ParkbyPlate in designated areas, a permit dispenser, or a staffed information kiosk to purchase their permit.

Beginning Monday, August 25, through the start of the fall quarter, scheduled road maintenance and repair work will take place on campus. Occasional closures may be necessary between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m..

University Pass (UPass) memberships for the 2025-2026 fiscal year are available to purchase online through the myCommute portal. UCI Transportation has negotiated a special rate from OCTA for UCI faculty, staff, and students from the main campus, which allows for unlimited use of OC Bus standard routes throughout Orange County. This year’s UPass will be valid through June 30, 2026, at a low, one-time cost of $169.
